Tinplate Tiger on the Radio and in the News

Vintage Rock The debut Easy Tigerz album "Two headed tattooed lover girls" released on Western Star was reviewed in Vintage Rock magazine (Issue 4 2012). The Easy Tigerz also appeared in UK Rock 'n' Roll magazine. The track "Redneck Vampire Valentine" was played by Mike Davies on his BBC Radio One show. Tracks were also played on the Geoff Barker Rock 'n' Roll Party Show on BBC Radio, and still receive regular airplay on Radio Pembrokeshire. The track "Snake Hip Honey" was used by Lingerie company Nylonz for a promotional video that has received over 30,000 hits on You Tube. A number of other tracks from the album have been used as the sound track for You Tube videos by third parties.

A support slot by Easy Tigerz for Brazillian psychobilly trio "As Diabatz" at the Lanes Bristol in 2012, was mentioned in The Guardian newspaper.

In November 2012, Tinplate Tiger was BBC Introducing artist of the week on the Bethan Elfyn show on BBC Radio Wales, and was interviewed live on air, about his love of obscure 50s and 60s music, B movies and the films of David Lynch and Quentin Tarrantino. The track "Fountain in the Centre of the Town" was featured on the show.

In 2013, Adam Walton played the title track of the album "Lost My Mind in the Lizard Lounge" on his Sunday night show on BBC Radio Wales

In 2015, Tinplate Tiger did two live acoustic sessions on Radio Pembrokeshire, including tracks from the albums Cactus Flower and Dreaming of Wild Horses. In January 2016, Tinplate Tiger was artist of the week on the Radio Pembrokeshire drive time show, with tracks played each day. Also in January, the track 'Digging My Own Grave' was played on the Radio Rock Blues Show. Album reviews and a feature on Tinplate Tiger appeared in Pembrokeshire Life magazine (February 2016).
